Charlene McNeil took over at Pawsitively Purrfect in July of 2015. The business was already located in Kitchener for 15 years. This was just a start for the vision she had for the business. Charlene wanted to grow it to not only offer grooming but other services to help with clients needs. Charlene began her grooming career at the age of 17, when she started working with her mother, with whom she apprenticed with and who taught her everything she knows in grooming. At 28 Charlene went to school to learn to be a dog trainer, where she apprenticed with Dave McMahon at Dave McMahon's Dog Training Academy. She always wanted learn as much as she could to help with dogs as much as possible. Dog training has become one of her passions. Being able to hep dog owners become great pack leaders and dogs become balanced pack members is tremendously rewarding!
Martha McNeil graduated from Pets Beautiful School of Styling in 1994. Martha worked at vet clinic for three years following her graduation to perfect her grooming skills. When she was ready to venture off on her own she opened her first grooming shop in 1997. There she was a hands on owner and operator for the business, growing it to become very successful and well respected in the city. She sold that business in 2012 and tried her hand at other ventures, all while continuing to groom on a part time basis. Martha is very excited to have the opportunity to join this growing business and is looking forward to meeting our new and old fur clients and their pet parents.
